1. Wizkid broke the internet in June appearing on the Dolce & Gabbana runway Spring Summer 2019 fashion show in Milan, as the first African artiste to do so, appearing alongside supermodel Naomi Campbell.

While it was the Men’s Fashion Show, it also featured female models such as Naomi Campbell, Monica Bellucci as well as a family.

2. Fashion shows, makeup masterclass and events for opportunities to showcase your African designs and talent with modelling and business networking opportunities published here and here.

3. Accra Men’s Fashion Week, the 3rd edition, took place on the 15th and 16th of June with some of the biggest names in Ghanaian fashion and modelling taking part in the event. Some highlights:

4. Swahili Fashion Week & Awards is the acclaimed East & Central (Swahili speaking regions) Africa’s Largest Fashion & Awards Platform. The Kenyan edition, the Nairobi Showcase, took place on the 30th of June. The Kenyan edition was launched in 2011. The platform aims to provide an avenue for “fashion and accessory designers from the region to showcase their talent, market their creativity and network with clientele and the international fashion industry.”

5. Jennifer Lopez teamed up with makeup line, Inglot to release one of the most anticipated makeup collaborations of the year. The collaboration has is now available for purchase in Nigeria and South Africa.

6. Cosmetics powerhouse, Lancôme Paris ‘My Shade, My Power’ campaign launching 40 shades of foundation hits Nigeria; in partnership with Glam Brand Agency.
