Ensibuuko is a Ugandan fin-tech platform which addresses financial inclusion. It shares partnership with existing community-level financial institutions. They exist to equalize access to financial services with the aim of supporting these financial entities by providing them with modern e-banking infrastructure. This is as a result of poor banking service in rural areas and expensive financial service infrastructure such as high interest rates.
Ensibuuko uses a cloud-based software platform, Mobis to assist microfinance organizations in digitalizing their data, process, and payments. This innovation improves the delivery of financial services by limiting poor telecom infrastructure, especially in rural areas. It also paves the way for users to have access through a mobile phone to their accounts, thereby making withdrawals and deposit easier. They also share great innovative posts on their Facebook page which are helpful to young and fast-growing entrepreneur. This is great news for Africa’s finance sector as it opens for international partnership.
