Lifebank is a smart system dedicated to saving lives by speeding up oxygen blood donations and deliveries to hospitals.
It is a healthcare technology and logistics company based in Lagos, Nigeria. As a health startup, it facilitates the transmission of blood from labs across the country to patients and doctors in hospitals across Africa.
Temie Giwa-Tubosun founded Lifebank in 2016 out of the belief that no African should die from a shortage of medical products at the Hospital level. The goal is to deliver the needed medical products such as blood, blood products, vaccines and oxygen to hospitals with a mission of saving one million lives. Currently, it has moved over 12,000 products, served over 600 hospitals and saved over 2,800 lives.
Lifebank aids fast discovery + delivery of essential medical products starting with blood and oxygen across sub-Saharan Africa, starting with Nigeria.
