Rata-grab is an online takeaway ordering marketplace located in Cameroon. This organization combines the best food with the best technology by enabling restaurants to become visible in the mobile and online world through industry-leading software and technology that generates additional demand. Cameroonian prototype Rata-grab launched its prototype in 2017 after testing its online food ordering and delivery platform on five restaurants in Douala.
Sakwe Njaiyo, the founder, started after he experienced difficulties with ordering food for himself, and then he realized the potentials that the increase in internet access in Cameroon can offer the food industry on delivering service. Afterwards, he launched an online test on food ordering and delivery service with five restaurants. Then, he opined that the growing demand for fast food in Cameroon due to unemployment has led to the opening of more and more restaurants being set up offering fast food, hence the establishment of Rata-Grab. Interested businesses owners can learn more about Rata-Grab from any of their social media accounts – Facebook, and Instagram.
Rata-Grab allows hungry food consumers to search nearby restaurants and order food through a convenient online platform.
