One of the most anticipated fashion shows of the year, Swahili Fashion Week, is upon us again. In its 10th year, the Swahili Fashion Week provides a platform for Swahili speaking native countries to showcase their talent to the world in the Fashion & Accessories categories.
The event provides opportunities for marketing, networking and international exposure to designers in the region.
Set to take place on the 1st to 3rd of December, 2017, talent from the following countries can take part in the event: Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
The event features pop-up shops and award segments recognizing talent in various categories: http://www.swahilifashionweek.com/awards.php. To nominate or watch the process, follow live updates on the SFW Social Media pages.

You're the RUBY of my eye ? Okay not really a saying, but maybe we should start a trend? ? Rubies are said to alleviate exhaustion and lethargy as well as stimulate circulation.
