TradeDepot was founded in 2015 by Onyekachi Izukanne, Michael Ukpong, and Ruke Awaritefe in a bid to connect all the participants in the trade chain: the manufacturers, distributors and retailers. There is an unpronounced problem of food accessibility to some remote consumers in Africa, and TradeDepot has made it their goal to solve this problem.

TradeDepot started with a centralized mission to increase the distribution of milk to retailers using the latest technology. They have, however, advanced from distributing just beverages to personal hygiene products, pharmaceutical products and food to small and large communities. Their target market is the small communities and, having this in mind, the prices of these goods are subsidized and feature brands like Promasidor, Coca Cola and a host of others.

The company recently received $3million in funds from Partech to support its advancement and to widen its reach. You can track the progress of TradeDepot on their Facebook and Twitter pages.

This is great news in the logistics industry as Partech can serve the manufacturers, distributors and retailers better for exceptional results.
